Gold Leaf

I've had the privilege to work with Kelvin on both sides of the camera several times over this past year. I had an opportunity to submit some of my work to local magazine 9to5 and wanted to create something new, specifically with gold leaf. Once I had the idea in mind I knew Kelvin was the only person I wanted for it. We had a lot going against us on this particular shoot: timing, conditions, and so on. This set is not only in my top three favorites, but the first image was accepted into 9to5 issue that will be published in January. 

Kelvin is a photographer based out of Charleston who has a cutting eye and incredible gift. I'm very lucky to be able to work with someone so creative and to be able to call them my friend. So many thanks go out to this man and I hope it shows in the photos below.
